Project Based Learning

Project based learning is something that I have not done in years. I would like to explore this issue again this year because teachers in our district are being trained in project based learning. I wonder if there is a project that would work in the math lab when I only see K-6 students for 40 minutes each week. I would like to think about the possibilities for spreading a project out over time.
